Xotic AI pricing: what Ultimate really costs (we paid for it)

The plans
On 21 October Xotic sold Ultimate over three terms. Its plan guide now lists only monthly and yearly billing (“Quarterly billing is no longer offered”) and adds a higher plan, Elite, at $74.99 a month or $449.99 a year with 6,000 XOT a month (the same amounts in euros in the EU). The longer terms show a lower “per month” figure, but they are charged upfront, and all their XOT are deposited at once.

What we actually paid
We bought Ultimate monthly on 21 October 2026. Our bank shows the payment the same day: €24.99, merchant “Xotic.ai”, still pending when we captured it.

The account then showed 1,180 XOT: the 1,000 of the plan plus 180 left from earlier. Two things to note for your bank statement: the price matched the one displayed, and the merchant name is the product’s own — “Xotic.ai”, not a neutral company name.
What XOT actually buys: our debits
We recorded the balance before and after each paid action. These are the charges we saw, not estimates:

Debits observed on our Ultimate account on 21 October 2026, matching Xotic’s published cost guide that day. “Share of the month” is our arithmetic against the 1,000 monthly XOT. Failed generations were not tested; the Terms say their XOT are returned automatically.

Xotic’s published rate card goes further than what we tested: in August it listed video engines from 150 to 500 XOT for five seconds, talking video at 100 XOT per second, voice calls at 50 XOT a minute and video-avatar calls at 250. Check the current card before generating: the price is set by the engine and the options, not by the clip.
What a month of Ultimate buys
1,000 XOT is not 1,000 of anything. Spent on one thing at a time, it covers:

Our arithmetic from the debits above, assuming nothing else spends XOT and every generation succeeds. A retry costs the full price again.
In practice, it goes faster. Over our full day of testing — chat in three languages, three images, one video, Worlds turns and a scene image — the balance fell from 1,180 to 640 XOT: more than half the month in one day. Our one image and one video alone took 300 XOT, or 30%. For conversation, yes. €24.99 a month buys unlimited ordinary chat with a companion that remembers corrections and respects a change of tone — the part of Xotic that worked best in our test.
For media, budget it. At 250 XOT for five seconds of video, and with images that did not always follow our instructions, the allowance can go in a few attempts. Our advice: settle the picture before paying to animate it, and keep the XOT for scenes you actually want to keep. What the images and video looked like is in our image and video test.
For a year upfront, wait. The yearly plan is cheaper per month, and your XOT stay on the account after the plan ends, but the subscription itself is not refunded once paid.
Before you pay: extra XOT, cancellation and refunds
- Extra XOT is sold in packs to subscribers — from 2,200 XOT for $19.99 in August, priced in dollars while the plans are in euros.
- Cancel under Settings → Subscription: renewal stops and access continues to the end of the paid period, according to Xotic’s guide updated on 20 October 2026.
- Refunds are a separate request: since 20 October the Terms and the billing FAQ agree that an unused XOT pack can be refunded within 14 days, while the subscription and its included XOT cannot, unless the law requires it. XOT spent on a failed generation are returned automatically.
- Keep a record of the plan, the amount, the renewal date and your cancellation confirmation.
