Privacy
The short version: this site has no accounts, no newsletter and no comment section, so there is very little about you for us to collect. What we do collect is listed below, all of it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which reviews get read. It loads only if you accept statistics in the cookie banner. Decline and no analytics script runs at all — not in a reduced form, not anonymously, not at all.
When it does run, what we see is aggregate: page views, country, browser, device type, which page sent you to which. We do not build a profile of you, and nothing in it lets us work out who you are.
Analytics data is retained for 26 months, then deleted automatically. The legal basis is your consent, which you gave in the banner and can withdraw at any time.
Sending data outside the EU
Google Analytics may transfer data to servers in the United States. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Google sets out what it does with the data in its own privacy policy. If you decline statistics in the banner, no analytics script runs and there is no transfer.
Server logs
Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, the time. Every website on the internet does this; it is what keeps the server up and shows us an attack in progress. Logs are kept for [N] days and used for nothing else.
If you write to us, we keep your message and your address for as long as it takes to answer properly, then no longer. You will not end up on a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Cookies
The banner on your first visit stores exactly one thing: your answer. That cookie is the reason we stop asking.
Analytics cookies are set only if you accepted statistics. WordPress sets a technical cookie only if you log in to the site, which no reader ever does. There is nothing else.
You can change your answer whenever you like, from the cookie settings in the footer.
Affiliate links
Some of our links to platforms are affiliate links, and they are marked as such wherever they appear. When you click one we send you straight through to the platform — we do not set a tracking cookie on our side.
The platform does, and so does the affiliate network behind it. From the moment you land there, their privacy policy applies and ours stops. That is worth knowing before you click, which is why we are telling you here rather than in a footnote.
What comes back to us is a statistic: a sale attributed to a link. Affiliate programmes do not tell us who signed up. We never see your account, your payment details, or one word of what you say to a companion.
If you would rather leave no trail at all, type the platform’s name into your browser instead of clicking through. You get the same review either way — the score was decided before the link existed.
What we never do
- Sell, rent or share your data. There is nothing to sell.
- Run ad networks, retargeting pixels or social trackers.
- Ask you to create an account.
- Follow you around other websites.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK, you can ask for a copy of whatever we hold on you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how it is processed, or withdraw a consent you gave earlier. Withdrawing analytics consent takes one click in the cookie settings — you do not need to email anyone for that.
For anything else, write to [email protected]. We answer within a month, which is the legal deadline rather than our ambition. If you think we have handled it badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Adults only
This site covers adult products and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect anything from a minor, and if we learn that we have, we delete it.

Changes
If this policy changes, we change the date below and say what moved. We will not quietly rewrite it and hope you re-read it.
